Lewisville vs. Flower Mound - 2019 Week 5 Football Highlights

Flower Mound Head Coach Brian Brasil and his Jaguars took on Lewisville who played with heavy hearts after a JV player passed away earlier this week. Pick this one up with 4:26 left and Jags down 3. Blake Short throws it up to Reid Touchstone who comes down with a Touchdown. Flower Mound up 27-23. Farmers answer back. First Taylen Green rolls away from the rush and heaves it to a wide open Gabe Ellis for 62 yards. Very next play, Green keeps it himself for the 13 yard score. Lewisville leads 30-27 with 3:01 to play However, Jags drive to the 2 yard line and Pierce Hudgens in the Wildcat scores with 12 seconds left to win it for Flower Mound 34-30.

Arlington Lamar vs. Arlington Martin - 2019 Week Football Highlights

Arlington Lamar met Arlington Martin at Maverick Stadium in a battle of two of the best in District 4-6A 2nd Quarter, 7-0 Martin, quarterback Zach Mundell, who already had 1 TD in the quarter, looking for more, gets a couple of great blocks and he's off to the races! He's going to go 70 yards on this touchdown run, one of THREE rushing scores for him on the night, this one made it 14-0 Martin Later in the 2nd, Mundell getting it done through the air, too - he hits Jonathan Carter in stride, and he coasts in for the 43-yard TD, it's 22-0 Martin at halftime Lamar would finally get on the board in the 4th quarter - Jack Dawson finds Trevon West for the 16-yard score... too little too late though, Martin's Chris Craft puts this one away with the short TD run. Martin wins 39-8.

Keller vs. Southlake Carroll - 2019 Week 5 Football Highlights

Clemson bound R J Mickens hasn't played all year for Southlake Carroll due to a broken foot. He should be back soon, but not in time for Keller Friday night Keller came out very physical on this night. Dragons Quarterback Quinn Ewers has no clue Cannon Fouts was coming on the blitz.....he get's popped and loses the ball.....Indians recover in the red zone. On 4th and 1, Hayden Anderson goes to Nick Rocha for the short touchdown. Keller fans are going bonkers as they lead 7-0. It would be short-lived. Next possession, Cade Wood scores from 8 yards out to tie the game at 7. Then Ewers would go to work. Here's a 24-yard touchdown to John Manero. Ewers threw for 280 yards and 5 touchdowns as Southlake Carroll wins it 56-14.

Keller Central vs. Denton Guyer - 2019 Week 5 Football Highlights

The district opener in 5-6A had a pair of unbeaten teams, Keller Central at 3-0 on the road against Denton Guyer. Guyer would score first with quarterback Eli Stowers breaking containment and slinging it out to Cam Thrallkill. He makes a nice move and gets in for a 19-yard score, and a quick 7-0 lead. Kaedric Cobbs with another huge night, he goes for 160 yards on just 16 carries, this one never in doubt as Guyer wins the district opener, 49-10.

Corsicana vs. North Forney - 2019 Week 5 Football Highlights

In his first year at Corsicana, Hal Wasson has the tigers off to a 3-1 start; taking on North Forney Friday night. 1st qtr, Corsicana running back Damarius Daniels takes the inside handoff and sprints down the middle of the field; it's a 54-yard touchdown run. 7-0 Corsicana Later in the 1st quarter, North Forney with good field position, but Jacob Acuna's pass is tipped and intercepted by Ja'braylan Douglas. Tigers took over leading 7-0. In the 2nd quarter, Falcons finally put together a good drive. Ty Collins rips off runs of 20 and 23 yards to put North Forney deep in Corsicana territory. They capped off the drive with a touchdown pass: North Forney quarterback Acuna pump fake, throws 10-yard touchdown pass to Collyn Shipley. It was 7-7 at halftime; Corsicana wins 27-24.

Arlington vs. Trimble Tech - 2019 Week 5 Football Highlights

Huge task for Trimble Tech in their district opener as they took on red hot Arlington High Colts were on point all night. Kris Sims threw 3 touchdowns in the first 8 minutes, including this one to Charles Brown as Arlington led 35-0 after a quarter. Second quarter, Sims with the deep ball to Lesley Odimara for 58 yards. Arlington starts off district 4-6A play with a big win.
