North Forney and Garland met in the middle - at Mesquite Memorial.
The Falcons scored first on a nice pitch and catch from Tamarion Crochett to Jaquarion Robinson, and watch Robinson use his blocker to eventually find a lane to the end zone.
2nd quarter, the Falcons were knocking on the door, but the Owls defense slams it closed, and then crashes through the door on the other end of the field. Zalen Reynolds is the man on the scoop-and-score. He goes 93 yards to tie the game at 7-7.
But North Forney would respond on the ensuing kickoff. Aamii Branch will take this back 95 yards to the house. North Forney led 21-7 at halftime and held on to win 28-21. The Falcons move on to play Cedar Hill in the area round.
