Most Thursday nights, the Weatherford Kangaroos football team have their noses in the playbooks getting ready for their next opponent. But this Halloween, some of the players and volleyball team decided to head out to the ole pumpkin patch. They weren’t there to goof around on “all hallows eve, but to make sure kids from their community had an awesome Halloween too. The “Roos” players along side the Helpful Honda guys and gals, gave out pumpkins and candy and made new fans and friends.. The Roos are the middle of a playoff push, but it was nice for them to take a step back from that pressure to just hang out with the kids.
Parish Episcopal quarterback, Preston Stone, has been lighting up the scoreboard all season, but in a huge TAPPS game against Prestonwood, he really put on a show. Stone threw for 266 yards and 5 touchdowns as the Panthers beat Prestonwood 44-19. Stone also ran for 141 yards as Episcopal cemented themselves as one of the teams to beat once the post season begins. For his efforts, Preston Stone is our GiveMeTheVin.Com MVP Bobblehead winner.
