A bust of legendary Lamar coach Eddie Peach was unveiled before the Vikings game with Arlington.
Lamar needed a win and some help to win a share of the district title. They got the scoring started on a long pass from JACK DAWSON to CAM BRADY, who shook off a pass interference to make the catch and score a 43-yard touchdown. Vikings up 7-0.
The Colts came right back when KRIS SIMS threw a little swing pass to CHARLES BROWN, and he did the rest on a 42-yard score. BROWN finished with 5 catches for 149 yards and two scores.
Lamar quarterback JACK DAWSON ran for one touchdown and threw for 3, including the game winner at the end of the 4th quarter. Vikings won 34-33, then went to check their phones to see what happened across town.
