West Mesquite Dominates Carrollton Creekview 53-21

Jaylen Dotson connected with Richard Clark on an 8-yard touchdown to open the scoring as West Mesquite pulled away for a 53-21 victory over Carrollton Creekview in a battle for 6-5A Division 1 positioning.

Creekview answered quickly through Ahmari Washington's 62-yard touchdown that briefly tied the game. West Mesquite responded by scoring 24 unanswered points before halftime, building a 32-14 cushion that proved insurmountable.

Dotson and Se'Maje Jordan led the offensive attack as West Mesquite set up a district championship showdown against Newman Smith.
