Prestonwood Christian Tops Eagle Mountain Behind Livings Twins | Volleyball

Ranked among the best programs in Texas, Prestonwood Christian Academy made a strong case for that distinction with a 3-1 victory over Eagle Mountain, powered by twin standouts Nyla and Naomi Livings.

The Lady Lions took the first set 25-20, though not without a scare. Holding a two-point lead, a ceiling interference call handed Eagle Mountain a point — the kind of quirk that can shift momentum in a hurry. It didn't. PCA responded with a clean pass-and-set sequence that put the ball in Nyla Livings' hands for the kill, and Eagle Mountain never scored again in the set.

The second set belonged to the Lady Knights. Molly Aubert delivered a perfect set to sophomore Keylee Williams to close it out 25-24, knotting the match at one set apiece. It was the last real foothold Eagle Mountain would find.

PCA came out of the break with a purpose, racing to a 9-0 run to open the third set and cruising to a 25-13 win. The Lady Lions carried that momentum into the fourth, and when Eagle Mountain had a chance to extend the rally, Gracie White came up with the block to end it. PCA closed out the set 25-17 and the match 3-1.
