Plano East Head Coach Matt Wester - Week 30 Basketball MVP Bobblehead Winner

In order to become the first UIL team in 6A to become an undefeated champion since 2007, you have to have the right man patrolling the sidelines. At Plano East, Matt Wester was that man. With no move ins or transfers, Wester used the home grown talent developed at Plano East and helped mold them into a 40-0 state champion. Most of his team had played together since they were 8 or 9 years old and Wester put them in the right positions to make plays all year long. For the first ever state championship won at Plano East in any sport, Matt Wester is our Parker University Basketball Coach of the Year.
