Wallace brothers become first siblings with jerseys retired together
Keaton and Cason Wallace became the first siblings to have their jerseys retired simultaneously at Richardson High School when both brothers' number 22 was honored in a special ceremony. The NBA players, now with the Atlanta Hawks and Oklahoma City Thunder respectively, were greeted by hundreds of fans at their alma mater.
Keaton, a 2017 graduate and former offensive player of the year, and Cason, a 2021 state tournament leader and lottery pick, reflected on their journey from high school hallways to the highest level of basketball. The brothers spoke about the rarity of siblings playing in the NBA and the importance of being role models for the community where their legacy began.
