The undefeated Keller Indians continued their dominant run in District 4-6A baseball with a decisive 9-1 victory over Byron Nelson. The game started with a bang in the bottom of the first inning when Tennessee commit Cole Koeninger launched a no-doubt leadoff home run to left field. Koeninger, batting nearly .500 for the season, was a tough out all night and finished the game 3-for-4. Keller kept the pressure on early, extending their lead to 4-0 in the first inning after Jaden Muller hit a deep gap shot to left-center, scoring Maddox McCrary all the way from first base. The relentless Keller lineup forced an early pitching change and never looked back. In the fourth inning, Maximus Segura blew the game wide open with a clutch hit down the right-field line to plate two more runners. Keller cruised to a comfortable 9-1 win, showcasing why they are a top team in DFW high school baseball.
