Game of the Week - Madison vs Coldspring-Oakhurst
Damien Mobley was hopeful his Madison Trojans would have a chance to play for a title. But first, they had to get past Coldspring-Oakhurst
Coldspring had the early lead behind Jacoby Bishop who wound up with 20 points on the day.
Madison would cut it to 2 when Jerome Rogers Junior would hit for 3 of his 16 points in the corner.
Coldspring back up 14-9 when Duke Lawniczak (Lawn -uh-sack) hits a 3. He led all with 21 and was very confident.
Madison would use their favorite part on the floor....that corner 3....this time it's Christian Henry and Trojans up 23-20 after 1.
Warren Dunn had a field day in the paint as he tallied 15 and Madison widened it's lead to 7
Then Trojans ran the break. That's Leonard Miles with the long pass to Kaden Keal for a bucket. Madison led 41-31 at the break.
Second half, they poured it on. Tavorice Weaver with the block on one end, then Rogers feeds him for a layup on the other end. Weaver went 8 for 8 from the field for 16 points
Finally Henry scores again off the glass. He lead Madison with 17 points. They win the semifinal 90-73 and hope to get to play another day
