Another huge crowd on hand at Lumpkins Stadium for the Battle for 287.
4th quarter, Waxahachie already feeling good up 20-2 and Rodreick Hartsfield takes the sneak in from the 15. Hartsfield threw for 2 tds and ran for 2 more on the night.
This is the kinda night it was for Ennis. Jamarion Wafford scampers for a nice 20 yard gain into the red zone and the Lions think they're cooking.
Next play, Jackson Gilkey drops the snap and the Indians recover...spoiling any chances to score.
A couple plays later, Jayden Becks busts it around right side and has a huge hole....72 yards later, the Ennis fans head for the exits as Waxahachie leads 35-2.
And then, next drive....same play, different back....this time it's Yoshua Sargent on a 44 yard touchdown run. The Indians manhandle Ennis and take the Battle for 287 much to the excitement of Head Coach Shane Tolleson.
