Corsicana Rallies to Playoff Hope with Win Over Kaufman

UNT commit Mark Brown rushed for 218 yards as Corsicana kept their playoff hopes alive with a 35-17 victory over Kaufman on Kubota Country Roads.

Kaufman grabbed the early lead behind Elijah Rose, who accumulated 188 rushing yards throughout the contest. Corsicana's momentum shift came when Brown took over, powering through the Kaufman defense for pivotal touchdowns that dismantled the Lions' initial advantage.

The victory improves Corsicana to 3-2 in district play, keeping them in contention for a postseason berth.
