Parish Episcopal quarterback, Preston Stone, has been lighting up the scoreboard all season, but in a huge TAPPS game against Prestonwood, he really put on a show. Stone threw for 266 yards and 5 touchdowns as the Panthers beat Prestonwood 44-19. Rockwall’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the Inside High School Sports Week 5 Football MVP
Rockwall’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba could not be covered in the first half against Arlington Martin. He had 9 catches in the half and four touchdowns. Sophomore quarterback Braedyn Locke hooked up with Smith-Njigba on touchdowns of 27, 67, 23 and 37 yards as the senior receiver got free against all kinds of coverages. For the night, Smith-Njigba had 11 catches for 201 yards and those 4 scores. Those efforts were more then enough to win his second GiveMeTheVin.Com M-V-P bobblehead.
