About Plano East
Plano East High School in Plano plays its home games at John Clark Stadium, a 14,224-seat facility it shares with other district schools. The Panthers were part of the 1994 playoff game against John Tyler that became known as one of the greatest high school football games in Texas history, a wild comeback attempt that fell just short. Notable alumni include MLB pitcher Jake Arrieta, who won the 2015 Cy Young Award and the 2016 World Series.
