About Mansfield Lake Ridge
Mansfield Lake Ridge in Mansfield opened in 2011 and plays at Vernon Newsom Stadium. The Eagles reached the Class 5A Division I state championship game in 2024, falling to Richmond George Ranch 56-0. Lake Ridge made its first playoff appearance in program history in 2018 and has since become a regular postseason contender in District 3-6A.
