Kendall Miller's Frisco Emerson Mavericks got their first ever varsity win last week....going for win number 2 Thursday night against Woodrow Wilson.
Defense's stepped up first half, Mike Molstad avoids the sack of one Wildcat, only to get dropped by two other Wilson rushers. Mavericks still led 7-3 at half.
3rd quarter, Molstad with the 6 yard fade to Matheus Machado who goes up and gets that one....nice catch. 13-3 Emerson.
Still 3rd, Molstad takes the snap and sees no one open. Starts rolling....rolling... and finally he dumps it to Jayson Williams and says "here, see what you can do with it".....well all Williams does is dodge all Wildcat defenders and race 74 yards to the house. Frisco Emerson is on a roll as they go 2-0 with the 32-12 victory.
