Lets head to Carrollton Creekview High where the Mustangs were hosting the West Mesquite Wranglers led by Central Michigan commit Braylon Rayson. And right off the bat the Creekview big man goes to work, 6'7 Larry Hughes gets the rock down low, has his first shot blocked but stays with it and gets the put back to fall, nice work by the big fella. West Mesquite runs the break here when Tyrone Davis gets it to Jordan Johnson who gives it right back and Davis has the clear path to the rim, nice give and go there. Mustangs answer right back when Alex Ricon rebounds the missed shot, kicks it out to Ian Spaight and he's PURE from three land, Spaight led all scorers with 26. Rayson starts to get in the act when he drives, no looks to Nate Davis who gives a pump fake and the gets the up and in for the deuce. Spaight again would come back with a three ball, this time from WAY down town, this kid has some some sweet stroke. The Wranglers start amping up the D after that, here Davis steps in front of the pass and he cruises in for the one handed flush for 2 of his 12, then Rayson would put this one away when he's set up in the corner for 3, takes the bump and gets the shot to fall for the 4 point play, Rayson ended with a team high 18 as West Mesquite goes on to the win, 80-73.
