A Tale of Two Halves unfolded in Mansfield as Lake Ridge hosted Waxahachie for first place in 11-6A
First half...all Lake Ridge.... Amir McMillian with some juke moves and then pulls up for the 3 ball. Eagles up 22-7.
Still first, Lake Ridge on the run...Shaqir Pack leaves it up for Abisayo (Ab-uh-SAY-oh) Ebakinro (E-back-in-ro) to put it in. Lake Ridge would lead by 20 in the first half.
Tide started turning during the end of the second half, as Michael Greenwood leaves for Parker Jefferson for the stuff. Indians down 16 still at the half.
3rd quarter they tightened up the defense which led to fast breaks...Trae Nunn find Jefferson for another stuff...23 points for him and Waxahachie outscored the Eagles 24-6 in the quarter.
They went on from there as the slick ball movement leaves it for King Grace to slam it home. Waxahachie with a huge second half effort to take over first place in 11-6A with the 74-68 win.
