Trimble Tech Football Takes Part in the Trinity Trash Bash to Help the Community & Team Bonding

Trimble Tech Head Coach Dwayne Henry had a pretty successful non-district run as his Bulldogs came out of it 2-1. But with 4 of his next 5 games coming against tough Arlington ISD schools, he knew his boys needed last week’s bye to get focused at the job at hand. Besides expanding the playbook, Henry was looking for ways to strengthen the bond between his players. The Trinity Trash bash offered a perfect opportunity to do just that. So on the Saturday of their bye week, some of the bulldogs along with Coach Henry, volunteered to help clean up the Trinity River. It was not only a nice break from practice, but a way to get to know each other better.

The guys teamed up with the North Texas Honda Dealers guys and gals to help clean up over a mile of the ragle’s landing trailhead, a place popular to bikers and other exercise enthusiasts. Trimble Tech High School is only a few miles from the location so it meant that much more for them to help out in their own community.
