Trinity Christian Addison Trojans vs. John Paul ll Cardinals - 2013 Basketball - Week 4

Now for some private school action where 2 of the area's best were matched up. Trinity Christian Addison's Carven Holcombe and Jackson Forbes both having great years for their respective schools and they would battle early and often. First Forbes gets the upper hand by outmuscling Holcombe for this rebound and drops in 2 of his 15 points on the night. Holcombe would respond with some beautiful footwork in the low post, gets the nice reverse layup, give him 11 on night. John Paul would take a 13 point lead at halftime thanks to some nice execution in the half court, Chandler Malone and Jason Martin hooking up here. Martin would lead all scorers with 22. Meanwhile Forbes was unstoppable in the paint, he gets the hoop and the harm, John Paul the second ranked third in the state, wins this one 64-49 and more importantly stays undefeated in district play.
