Frisco Wakeland bringing the smoke against Independence as they led 28-0 to start the 3rd
They scored on the ground in the first half, but Brennan Myer went to the air in the 3rd quarter. This is a nice 44 yard gain to Tripp Riordan.
That set up Myer at the 5....rolls to his left...he's going to throw it, right? No need as he walks right into the end zone to make it 35-0.
Later 3rd, I want you to check out this effort by Noah Mangham. Myer throws one out to him and Mangham just makes a sensational diving catch for a 38 yard touchdown. Wow what a play.
The defense would do the rest. Ryan Rapp's pass is tipped at the line of scrimmage and Henry Johnson gets the interception. The Wolverine defense pitched a shutout en route to a 49-0 win and for their efforts they get this week's title belt.
