Over to Arlington now where the Lamar Vikings were at home to close out the season against South Grand Prairie - both teams needing a win to advance to the post season. The defenses controlled this one throughout so it comes down to Lamar needing a field goal, trailing 10-7 at the end of regulation. Blake Ford, sends it through from 45 yards out with plenty to spare to send it to overtime tied at 10.
Neither team able to score in the first two overtimes so we move to a 3rd which by rule moves to 2 point conversions. South Grand Prairie scores first as Jaden Stanley powers his way in to make it 12-10.
Lamar with 1 play to answer, they hand it to Javion Green but the Warrior defense is all over it - they get the overtime win, 12 to 10 and advance to play Lake Highlands in the opening round of the playoffs - and for that goal line stand they earn this week's title belt!
