Mariachi music was in the air as the North Side Steers played host to Carrollton Creekview, the Steers needing a win in this one to keep playoff hopes alive but Creekview was in no mood to cooperate as Garrett Palacio finds his favorite target Shawn Salus on the edge, he works his back all the way across the field to give Creekview a 31-14 lead.
In the 4th Quarter North Side cuts it to 10 as Brandon Forrest sweeps around the left end for his 3rd touchdown of the night, its now 31-21 Creekview.
The Mustangs answer right back on the ground as Isaiah Evans gets in from 9 yards out, he finishes with 169 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns.
The Creekview defense took over from there, ending any hopes of a comeback, holding North Side to just 1 score in the 2nd half, they win it 37-21, and the Mustang defense earns this week's title belt.
