2nd ranked Brock taking on 3rd ranked Mount Vernon in a 3A Division 1 state semifinal.

Down 7-0, Eagles tie things up. Tyler Moody throws one across the middle to Elijah Potts and that's a 17 yard touchdown to tie the score at 7

Tigers trying to answer back. Raif Ramsey with the catch, but Reid Watkins just rips it out and is gone the other way. Usually called a "scoop and score" but this one was a "Give me that!!!! and score". Brock would lead 21-7 at the half.

Mount Vernon would score 3 unanswered touchdowns in the 3rd. Makenzie McGill going in from the 2 and the Tigers led 28-21 after 3.

Late 4th, Eagles put together a 5 minute 12 play, 84 yard drive which was capped off by Potts on the jet sweep going to the house from 20 yards out. The game is tied at 28 and we're going overtime.

Brock goes first and watch Nathan Jones report eligible and lines up as center. He snaps it and waits for everyone to go right, then he breaks left and is wide open. Eagles take the 35-28 lead.

4th down for Mount Vernon on their chance and Braden Bennett's pass is picked off by Carson Finney. That punches their ticket to the state championship as they get the win, 35-28 and for that goal line stand the Brock Eagles get this week's title belt! It was a game the Eagles will never forget.
