Frisco Reedy and The Colony going at it for the last playoff spot in 5-5A Division 1
Early on, Lions certainly let it be known that they wanted to have a second season. First offensive drive, that's Kaleb Smith in the wild cat and that's Kaleb Smith on a 74 yard run to the end zone to put Reedy up 7-0.
Reedy gets the ball back inside their own red zone and Devin Hardy tries to move it out, but is hit hard, looses the ball and Trevor Surgeson has an easy scoop and score to tie it at 7.
Lions would go up 14-7 when A J Padgett fires one across the middle to Erik Barr. That's a 9 yard score. and Reedy would not let off the gas
Cougars offense just could not get anything going all night. Dylan Corbin's pass is picked by Joseph Duffey in Colony territory
A couple plays later , Aaron Dainels runs in from the 5 yard line as Reedy would score 30 unanswered points. The Lions will not be turning in their shoulder pads next week as they are playoff bound with a 37-7 win.
