South Oak Cliff vs. Kimball - 2021 Week 10 Football Highlights
There's nothing like the soundtrack at a DISD football game ... this is Kimball and South Oak Cliff.
SOC was leading 42-7 with just seconds remaining in the first half when Kevin Henry-Jennings let it fly one more time ... Jamyri Cauley made the catch and should have scored but was flagged for taunting at the three yard line, negating the touchdown.
That gave kicker Deigo Varela a chance to kick a field goal, and he converted on the 35-yard try. It was 45-7 at halftime.
3rd quarter now ... Henry-Jennings threw to the sideline to Kylin Mathis, and Mathis does the rest, stretching the ball across the goal line before fumbling. It's a touchdown, and a 52-7 lead.
Henry-Jennings threw five touchdown passes in this game, Mathis caught his 2nd later in the 3rd quarter, and South Oak Cliff clinches first place in District 6-5A, division II. 59-7 was the final.
