South Grand Prairie Warriors vs. Arlington Martin Warriors - 2013 Basketball - Week 9

South Grand Prairie took the court as the favorite against Arlington Martin. And they showed why in the 2nd quarter....Nick Babb loses the dribble and watch Ben Emelogu go to the floor to get it. Then he leads Mark Howell for the snowbird layup. 20-9 S-G-P Later Emelogu dribbles around until he finds an ounce of space and then launches a 3 pointer...that's good... He scored 14 points and South Grand Prairie led 24-15 at the break. Kordell Elits (E-lits) led the way for Arlington Martin. This 3 kept the Martin Warriors close. But S-G-P proved to be the dominant Warrior team on this night. Emelogu goes into the lane and then wraps a pass around his defender to Rick Curry for the basket. Finally, Howell drives the lane and then kicks it out to Dante James for the 3 ball. South Grand Prairie moves on to the regional final with the 56-28 victory.
