Rockwall at Highland Park - 2021 Week 4 Football Highlights

September 20, 2021
Highland Park pulled away from Rockwall in the 2nd half for an impressive 51-35 win over Rockwall.

Highland Park and Rockwall have played some great games over the last few years, and this was another one.

Tied at halftime, the Scots' offense melted the clock *and* scored touchdowns. Their first drive of the third quarter ended on a touchdown run from Brennan Storer. That was on 4th down, and it gave the Scots a 31-24 lead.

Rockwall came right back and did it fast ... scoring on a touchdown pass from Braedyn Locke to Caden Marshall. That tied the game at 31.

The Scots responded slowly and deliberately ... with a 5 1/2 minute drive, capped off by a touchdown pass from Storer to John Rutledge. 29 yards on that scoring play, and it was 38-31 Scots.

After a Rockwall punt to end the third quarter, the Scots had a 6-minute scoring drive to take a 2-touchdown lead. Storer threw his 3rd touchdown pass of the game, this one to Luke Herring.

Rockwall's time of possession in the 2nd half was less than 5 minutes. Highland Park gets a big win, 51-35.
