Ridge Shipley, Hebron Hawks - Hot Prospect - 2013
July 21, 2018
When Ridge Shipley moved to Hebron from Plano West after his freshmen year, he only heard about one thing. .......football...football....football. And why not? Brian Bra-zil has built a successful program at Hebron and the basketball team, at the time, was just another sport to play until Spring football. But not anymore. Humble would be a good way to describe the Hawks star player. Shipley is just under 6 feet and only weighs around 160 and is often overlooked on the local scene. But you only need to glance at his stats to see why he is a division one college point guard. Shipley averages just under 20 points a game and dishes out 5 assists per contest, too. He is a stone cold assassin from behind the arc as he often kills an opposing teams momentum with his sweet stroke from 3 point land. The senior is also the unquestionable leader on the powerful Hawks team the season will be even more enjoyable if Shipley can lead the Hawks to Austin. After this year is done, Ridge will be taking his talents to the west coast to play for Cal Poly.
