Red Oak took on South Oak Cliff trying to put a halt to the Golden Bears dominance in 6-5A Division 2
First quarter, the Hawks got started right away. Joshua Ervin to Raymond Gay the second in stride and Gay goes 35 yards to put Red Oak up 7-0.
Second quarter, South Oak Cliff would tie it up. Rodney Hudson heaves it in the air and it comes down in the hands of DeMarco Moon for a 74 yard touchdown. 7-7 mid second
But on the ensuing kickoff, Red Oak's Coby Cavil fields it on the 6, jukes a few guys and then gets it to the sidelines and he is gone for a 96 yard touchdown. Red Oak takes advantage of 4 Golden Bear turnovers to beat SOC 28-21 for a huge statement win for the Hawks
