Friday night on the blue turf at Parish Episcopal School ... it was the top-ranked Panthers taking on Prestonwood Christian Academy. Under 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter, ANDREW PAUL takes it in from 2 yards out. He rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns, and Parish led 34-0. The Lions got on the board just before halftime, on a *tough* 4-yard run by JADEN LINDSAY. That made it a 34-7 game at halftime.
Parish quarterback PRESTON STONE had a very efficient game, 19-for-23 passing with 324 yards and three touchdowns, this one to JAKE YOUNGBLOOD. A few minutes later, facing 3rd and 13, STONE completed a 35-pass to JAI MOORE to the one yard line, and ANDREW PAUL scored on the next play. Parish is 4-and-oh, after beating Prestonwood, 55-14.
