Prestonwood Christian Lions vs Bishop Lynch Friars - 2013 Basketball - Week 7

July 21, 2018
In Plano, take a look who is back on the court for Prestonwood. After doctors told him he wouldn't return this season after fracturing his foot, Julius Randle saw action in the Lions last home game against Bishop Lynch last night. He would only get limited minutes, but he did well. Here he drives the lane, misses, but gets his own board and goes up for the 2 handed stuff. Avery Johnson was on hand and had to be intrigued. Randle also made his teammates better, too. Drawing the double team and finding Chas Taylor wide open for 3 in the corner...SPLASH. Marquan Botley showed his prowess for the Lions as well. Driving the lane and connecting on the layup plus the foul. Prestonwood up 10 early. For Bishop Lynch, Drew Bodensteiner finds the 3 point line to his liking as he tries to keep Lynch in it. But the night belonged to Julius Randle. Here he shows he still has his range as he dials one up from long distance. And finally, late 2nd quarter, Randle had his signature "WOW" moment...as he goes length of the court and behind his back to get by a defender then lays it up and in. He's back, folks, 19 points and 10 boards as Prestonwood wins it 74-56.
