Ponder taking on Hitchcock in the 3A state championship.
First quarter, great pass from Timber Crider to Max Hutcherson for the layup and we're tied at 9.
Second quarter, the Lions created some separation with their 3 point shooting. Kade Irons with the deep ball to give Ponder the lead.
The Lions tied a 3A record with 10 3's made in their semifinal. In the championship, they hit 6 including this one from Hutcherson who finished with 19. Ponder up 31-21 at the half.
3rd quarter they extended the lead to 13 when Crider took it strong to the hole.
But Hitchcock would turn up the pressure and when Damien McDaniel got this steal and went in for the layup to put the Bulldgos up 3 with a minute to play, it was all over for the Lions. Ponder loses in the title game, 53-49.
