Plano West Wolves vs. Plano East Panthers - 2013 Basketball - Week 6

Plano West sophomore SoSo Jamabo (Ja-ma-bo) had an amazing football season, but he's handling his business in hoops. They took on 3rd ranked Plano East Tuesday night. Wildcats found a hot hand early in this one. His name was Pat Birt. Here he drops that 3 point bomb on 'em. Had the fans patting themselves down. Then SoSo drives the lane, gets stripped, but stays with it and makes the pretty reverse layup. Zack Levick trying to get more points for the Wolves, but Xavier Smith is not having any of that....GET BACK.....sweet swat, young man. And how about Birt....taking on the whole Plano West team....and he takes it all the way to the tin for the basket. 35-21 East at the half. 2nd half, here comes Jamabo on the drive and Jacob Morales looks like he's going to take the charge, but at the last second he realizes who's coming and he high tails it out of the lane, letting Jamabo score the bucket. The East defense would be tenacious, though. They get the steal in the paint and start the break. It ends with a monsterous one handed jam by Jarvis Pugh. Wildcats up 54-39 after 3. To top things off, Birt hits this from long range. He finished with 32 points and Plano East rocks Plano West 81-52.
