Parish Episcopal marching down to attempt to capture a 5th straight TAPPS Division 1 state title. The opponent? St Thomas out of Houston.
First quarter, down 7-0, Sawyer Anderson goes 15 yards to Bryson Fields in the back of the end zone for the score. Panthers would lead 12-7 at the half.
3rd quarter, Anderson calls his own number. And he’s off for a 35 yard touchdown run. Parish episcopal was up 19-7.
They fall behind by 3 but then turned to Maddux Reid and Reid would deliver. To the tune of 188 yards and 4 scores. This 16 yarder gave Parish Episcopal a 26-22 lead.
In the 4th he would go for a 14 yard touchdown. The Harvard commit would help extend the lead and the panthers would win their 5th straight title with a 40-29 victory.
