The game started with drama when Pryce Demerson caught a flanker screen for North Crowley, only to be stripped by Coppell's Anthony Lewis with Eduvie Nesiama recovering. Despite the early turnover, North Crowley seized control. G'Yrell Smith scored a 15-yard touchdown, and Hayes Cloutier connected with Lorenso Cruz on a 33-yard scoring strike to extend the lead to 23-0.
