In an exciting Saturday afternoon game, the defending 6A-D1 champions, North Crowley, faced off against Coppell. The game started with intense action as Pryce Demerson of North Crowley caught a flanker screen, only to be stripped by Coppell's Anthony Lewis, with Eduvie Nesiama recovering the ball. Despite this early setback, North Crowley dominated the field. Julius Washington blocked a Coppell punt leading to a safety, and G'Yrell Smith scored a 15-yard touchdown, pushing North Crowley to a 9-0 lead. Hayes Cloutier and Lorenso Cruz connected on a 33-yard touchdown pass, further extending the lead to 23-0.
