At Thomas Coliseum, North Crowley's Jalan McCloud took has 16.6 points per game into a first round matchup with Justin Northwest. McCloud was spectacular in this one. He drives the lane and how about this unreal scoop shot under the defender's arm. Wow. The Panthers then show off some excellent ball movement, but Kevin Simmons blows the layup...no worries....Norense Odiase (O-Day-Zee) dunks in the rebound over a Northwest defender...Yikes!!! Texans played the Panthers strong all night. Josh Tatum tries to shake Torrence Neal...dribbles around a bit and then takes off to the baseline for the floater. Northwest trailed 19-18 at half. Second half, Texans work it in to Elijah Christman who ignores the obvious flop by the defender and scores the easy bucket. Christman with 17 on the night and the Texans were only down 3 going into the 4th. That's when McCloud showed his long range capabilities. Just look at how far behind the arc he launches these shots.
