North Crowley Panthers vs. Arlington Martin Warriors - 2013 Basketball - Week 2

Nick Babb, from Martin, is starting to gauge some Division 1 interest as he visited SMU last week. And he showed why early on in the game as he takes off past his defender for the layup which also turned out to be the Goodwill Drive of the Week.Then Justin Swearingin takes to the paint and dishes to Myles Garrett for the bucket.....on a side note...that Myles Garrett is a ridiculously big kid...stay out of the weight room, big fella. Anyway, the Panthers have quite the player in Jalen McCloud who is averaging over 16 points a game and he has what you call a "scorers mentality"...as he pumped in a game high 24 points on the night and North Crowley led 25-15 at the half. 2nd half, Andrew Dotson gets into the lane and then uses the glass off the jumper. Dotson with 15 points. But North Crowley was too much for Martin on this night. They went for the deep corner 3 with Caleb Banks and then Nik Boone. The Panthers take down Arlington Martin 51-42 and take over sole possession of first place in District 3-5A.
