Bowie head coach Kelly Carruthers has her Lady Vols ranked 11th in the state behind Texas Southern bound Ashley Ferguson as they took on North Crowley Tuesday night. North Crowley would cut it to 8 when Janee'Ja Smith steals the pass at halfcourt and goes the other way for the layup. She scored 10 points on the night. But Bowie knows where there bread is buttered and thats Ferguson. Jazmine Holman with the sweet bounce pass to Ferguson for 2 of her 22 points. Arl. Bowie wins District 3-5A with the 64-52 victory.
