Muenster Dominates Shiner for Back-to-Back 2A Titles

Muenster High School, under the guidance of Coach Brady Carney, faced Shiner in a rematch aiming for their second consecutive 2A Division 2 state championship. The game began with Muenster taking the lead early with Cason Carney scoring from a four-yard rush. Momentum continued with Carney connecting with Garrett Hess for multiple touchdowns, propelling Muenster to a 14-0 lead early on. By the end of the game, the duo had scored three touchdowns. The defense, with standout performances, especially from the defensive MVP Rhett Walterscheid, held Shiner to just 164 total yards, securing a 28-0 shutout victory for Muenster.
