Showcase of 2 of the nation's best wide receiver's as Midlothian and Bryant Wesco took on Lake Belton and Micah Hudson
Tie game at 7 and Midlothian's Colin Shannon throws a quick out to Wesco and the Clemson commit fights off tacklers to score and put the Panthers up 13-7.
2nd quarter, Shannon throws the slant to Wesco and there he goes...using those long strides to get a head of the field for a 50 yard score. 20-7 Midlothian.
Hudson would show why he's a top recruit as well. The Texas Tech commit makes an amazing catch in the back of the end zone. Refs say a foot was down and Lake Belton trailed 20-14.
But Midlothian would pull away in the second half. Shannon fakes the first handoff and then gives it to David Aborisade (Uh- bore-SADE) who carries it in. Midlothian wins it 49-28 and will play for a district title week 11 against Red Oak
