McKinney was on the cusp of its first 10-win season in 30 years, taking on Highland Park.
The Scots got the ball first and scored first. This PARKER THOMPSON pass to BRYCE LACZKOWSKI went for 25 yards, leading to a field goal and a 3-0 lead.
Later in the first, McKinney on the punt return, but JONATHAN GEORGE forces a fumble, and HUDSON REED jumps on it at the 31-yard line.
After losing 9 yards on a sack, the Scots were out of field goal range on 3rd and 11, but THOMPSON eludes the rush in the pocket, then breaks to the outside for a 13-yard gain, setting up another field goal and a 6-0 lead.
McKinney stormed back with three touchdowns in 8 minutes, but Highland Park wins on a last second field goal 22-21, and they'll play Southlake Carroll next week.
