Lone Star sophomore sensation TRENT PERRY had a big game, with both flash and substance. He had four dunks and a pair of three-pointers for a team-high 23 points.
But McKinney Boyd was giving Lone Star all they could handle. JOE HANSEN helped the Broncos taked a 5-point lead late in the 2nd quarter. He finished with 25.
Lone Star trailed by one at halftime, but AMARU MARTIN scored 8 points in 3rd quarter to help the Rangers take the lead.
At the end of the third quarter, ALEC JACKSON got a good look from the corner and nailed a 3 at the buzzer. Lone Star up 10 heading to the fourth.
Boyd trailed by as many as 14, but HUDSON BORING helped them close the gap to two. BORING led all scorers with 26.
But Lone Star pulled away at the end to win 69-63.
