Mansfield Legacy Broncos vs. Seguin Cougars - 2013 Basketball - Week 2

Lets head to Seguin High in Arlington which houses the #1 team in class 4A, the Seguin Cougars led by the high flying Greg Wesley who is headed to UNT after high school, they were facing a very game Mansfield Legacy squad in a district 15-4A matchup. Legacy jumps out early on the Cougars, Deon Bryant misses the shot but Legacy's Trey Edwards battles hard for the board and puts its back up for 2, nice effort there. Then Legacy runs the break to perfection here, Chris Smith gets it to Brett Potter who gives it right back to Smith and he glides in for the easy lay up. The Cougars come roaring back with the help of Mr. Wesley, here Brandon Parrish misses the 15 footer but Wesley flys in the picture and THROWS in down with one hand, great athletic play there. Wesley wouldn't be done punishing the rim, here Frazier drives and dishes to Wesley on the baseline and once again he throws it down this time with 2 hands, this Wesley kid is a high light machine I tell you! Then Niko Boleware gets in the act, here he finds himself open on the wing and....SPLASH! That was 3 of his game high 20 for the game. But Legacy hung tough with the #1 team all game, first it was Chad Pursley dishing to Marchie Murdock on the wing and he knocks down the long 3, Murdock with 10 for the game. Then it was Smith getting in on the 3 ball action when Murdock sets him up in the same spot and Smith is pure from long range, Seguin had trouble defending the 3 ball all game, and it would all lead to the mighty upset, Legacy goes to Seguin and knocks off the #1 team by the score of 47-45.
