Rockwall-Heath was coming off a big win against Trinity ... taking on Mansfield Lake Ridge.
Heath had a 4th and goal at the 7-yard line ... and quarterback CALEB HOOVER threw a strike to ELLIOT FINLEY, who was running a slant route in the end zone. That tied the game at 7-7.
Lake Ridge came right back. Quarterback KENNAN MILLER stepped up in the pocket and found a wide-open JAMAAL HALL streaking down the field. That play covered 49 yards and put Lake Ridge back on top 14-7.
Heath scored the next 17 points, and running back BRITTAN SNIDER got that run started. This 31-yard pickup set up his 4-yard touchdown run on the very next play. The Hawks improve to 2-1 with a 45-35 win over Lake Ridge
