In District 7-6A, a win by Irving MacArthur over Richardson could really muddle things up for the final 2 playoff spots. The Cardinals were down 11 in the 3rd quarter before scoring a touchdown, recovering a muffed kickoff, and then scoring again on this run by Davieon Morris. All of the sudden, MacArthur led 24-21. But Richardson would take the lead right back on a 12-yard run by quarterback Aaron Bertrand, his third of the night. The Eagles were back in front, 28-24.Late in the 4th, MacArthur faced 4th and 5 with only one minute, 35 seconds left, still trailing by four. Glendon Casas-Willis trying to throw for the first down, but there's no one there. They turn it over on downs...and this run by Bertrand took away the last hope for the Cardinals to get the ball back. Bertrand ran the ball 28 times for 153 yards, and Richardson is 4-1 in district, after beating MacArthur 28-24.
