Macarthur vs. J.J. Pearce - 2020 Week 15 Football Highlights

Irving MacArthur needed to beat Pearce by at least 9 to make the playoffs ... but the Cardinals were on the wrong end of a 34-0 halftime score. It went from bad to worse. Pearce opened the 3rd quarter with a field goal, and then MacArthur fumbled the ensuing kickoff. It was recovered by Anthony Bohling. Burke Wahlberg threw his third touchdown - and his second to Parker Livingston. Wahlberg finished with 327 yards passing, and he was finished for the night - it was 44-0. That gave his backup - and junior quarterback - Hayden Hawthorne some playing time. He threw a dart to fellow junior Cormac Boylan, who turned this into a 65-yard gain. Boylan took it all the way to the 10. A few plays later, Hawthorne got out of trouble with a TD pass to Bohling. Pearce was already in the playoffs, and their win means that their *rival* Richardson also gets in, as the 4-seed.
