Lincoln Tigers vs. Frisco Raccoons - 2013 Basketball - Week 8

Erick Neal and his twin brother Derrick knew they might need an extra handful of Skittles if they were going to lead Lincoln past Frisco at Loos (lows) Field House on Friday night. 1st quarter, off the miss, Lincoln's Emanuel Porter brings the fans to their feet with the emphatic follow-up slam! But Frisco's Kanetis (kuh-NEE-tis) Mays couldn't miss in the first half. First a little catch and shoot from the wing for 3... Then he crashes the boards and gets the nice tip in to put Frisco up 5. Then mays steps outside and fires away to take 3 more. A game high 26 points for Mays. But Lincoln is the state's third-ranked team and they would regroup. Erick Neal comes up with the ball down low then fires it out to his brother Derrick for the three to give the Tigers a 24-23 lead in the second... Then in the third quarter, Derrick Neal with the bullet pass to Mark Johnson underneath for the layup. Lincoln pulls away and wins 64-51. They'll play the winner of our next game.
