First quarter, the Tigers Jasmine Cooper knocks the ball away for the turnover and then she takes off the other way. She scores the layup and is hacked in the act. 21 all after a quarter. More defensive pressure in the second quarter. Nicoria Denman with the steal and on the other end, she makes a nice bounce pass to Alisha Washington for the basket and foul. Washington with 18 points. The Tigers would nail 6 3-pointers in the first half...Denman connects from the corner here, and Lincoln would lead 39-33 at halftime. In the 4th, Dariel Johnson is left alone underneath....she scores and the Tigers are up 57-56 with just under 3 min left. Lincoln had no answers for the Eagles Kaitlin Walla who scored 26 points. This bucket gave Georgetown the lead they would never relinquish as Lincoln falls in the 4-A state final 65-60.
